Dear listeners, we gather today not among tombstones but in the spirit of celebration and reflection. As we approach the season of joy and new beginnings. It feels fitting to take a pause from our weekly visits to the graveyard. But don't fret, we'll be back early in the new year. I must say, I'm pleased that I've been able to give a proper send off to those who have crossed my path since Halloween when this podcast began. Little did I know, however, what I was getting into. It turns out these memorials have been listened to by 1,000 and many a listener eagerly awaits the Tuesday release of the next memorial, so they can gorge on the lessons of these late podcasts. So with this in mind, let's take a moment to reflect on the journey of the last 8 weeks with 3 overarching lessons I've learned.
James Bishop [:Lesson number 1. Life is but a tapestry of stories. Each marker in the graveyard holds a unique tale. A collection of moments, to laughter and tears. As we celebrate the holiday season, let's cherish the stories that shape us and connect just to one another. Lesson number 2, embrace the unexpected. Just like my unexpected role as a guide for these departed dolls, life often takes us down unforeseen paths. This has become apparent time and time again at these podcast memorials.
James Bishop [:But keep on keeping on as you never know where it will lead. Lesson number 3 and perhaps most importantly, cherish the present. In the midst of our busy lives, it's easy to overlook the beauty of the now. Take a moment to appreciate the people around you, the experiences that shape you and the simple joys that make life meaningful. As we look ahead to 2024, I'm excited for the new chapters that await. I've received messages from beyond the grave. Whispers from once famous ghosts who inspire me to explore new horizons. In the coming year, we'll be experimenting with additional formats including a Sunday sermon which will be a solo episode hosted by yours truly.
James Bishop [:And stay tuned because I'm currently working on a live in person gathering. Awake, if you will. Where we can come together to celebrate the podcasting memories that bind us. Whatever happens, dear listeners, I assure you I'll do my utmost not to end up in the graveyard myself. Here's to a year filled with growth, laughter an unexpected adventure. Until next time.
